Casino Tarragona will once again embrace its Casino Tarragona Comedy monologue series as one of its standout entertainment offerings in the city. From February 23 to November 8, the Casino's T-Space will host the best national monologists and comedians, including Charlie Pee, Txabi Franquesa and Dario Orsi, among others.
The monologues start at 9 PM, and tickets priced at €12, are already available for purchase on the Casino's website. Additionally, GPM members attending the monologues can enjoy up to a 20% discount.
The performance schedule is as follows:
Charlie Pee, February 23
Known for being a scriptwriter and collaborator on La Resistencia and El Carolate, as well as one of the presenters of the L’última hora del Matí program on Catalunya Ràdio; after ten years of Stand Up, featuring monologues on Comedy Central, Las que faltaban (Movistar+), Phi Beta Lambda, Cruïlla Comedy, or TV3, she presents her first solo show. An hour full of laughter in which she shares her absolute miseries that have happened throughout her life.
Borja Nicolau, March 15
With over 10 years of experience in the field of communication, Nicolau stands out for his multiple roles: radio announcer, speaker, event presenter, monologist, trainer... Always with a touch of fresh and energetic humor.
Adri Romeo, April 26
Characterized by his dark, daring humor without crossing into bad taste, Adri Romeo arrives at Casino Tarragona Comedy to present his new show "32."
Co-creator of the podcasts "Aquí Estamos" and "GRG" (El Guay, el Raro y el Guapo), the Stand-up show "On És La Festa?" alongside Ignasi Taltavull and Charlie Pee, and scriptwriter for programs like "Los monólogos de Comedy Central" or "Akelarre"; the Mallorcan comedian is a regular at major comedy events such as Cruïlla Comedy or In Risus, among many others. Additionally, he has recently recorded his first comedy special, "Odiaría Ser Como Tú."
Txabi Franquesa, September 20
A reference in humor with a sharp touch, the versatile Txabi Franquesa bases his shows on everyday stories told with an inversion of reality that leaves no one indifferent, thanks to his speed, sincerity, and dynamism.
Actor, comedian, reporter, presenter, and scriptwriter, Franquesa started as a monologist performing throughout Spain within the National Comedy Circuit, and over the years, he became a classic in the last 6 seasons of "El club de la comedia" and the Master of Ceremonies in "The Hole Zero" and "The Zole 2."
Dario Orsi, October 11
The Argentine comedian and actor arrives at Casino Tarragona Comedy to present his new stand-up show, "Desastre" (Disaster). With a humorous approach, Orsi will touch on topics such as love, sex, aging, and the life of "rat people."
Dario's career took off in 2015, and since then, he has toured all cities in Argentina, as well as other countries like Paraguay, Chile, Uruguay, the Netherlands, and Spain. Additionally, his funny improvisations on Instagram and TikTok have garnered millions of views and more than 1 million followers.
Don't miss the chance to have fun with the King of "Desastre" live!
Fran Pati, November 8
In these times, being fashionable is crucial, but there are things that Fran Pati doesn't understand... Especially when a young guy with a peculiar, cheeky, and innocent point of view goes from living in a Manchego village in the Albacete plain to the capital of Spain...
With "Moder-no. Del pueblo a la ciudad" (Moder-no. From the village to the city), you'll enjoy a show with impeccable improvisation and full of humor based on the comparisons that the Albacete comedian makes between Madrid and his homeland or how times have changed from his childhood until now while interacting with the audience.
